DIEGO78: VINYLS NIGHT

DJ Shin got his start spinning records in Tokyo in 1996.

Out of the sleepless metropolis’s many hip-hop clubs, he began his career as a turntablist, perfecting juggling and scratching on a growing collection of vinyls. In 1999, he participated in the DMC World DJ Championships in Kanto and, in 2000, appeared in the Vestax Extravaganza tournament for East Japan, earning his name as a vetted battle DJ.

His unique multi-genre style seamlessly blends hip hop, R&B, soul, funk, jazz, Latin, house, and Japanese pop for an eclectic mix only a DJ with over 20 years of experience could produce.

DJ Goofy was hooked on R&B and Hip Hop when he lived in Canada in 94/95 which he thinks is a golden era of Hip Hop. After he came back to Japan, he started to dig vinyls ranging from R&B/Hip Hop to Breakbeats, Lovers Rock and Bossa Nova. His selection of music always has sick beats and beautiful melody.

DJ Mikity, used to be a resident DJ in Nagoya Japan and gigged with epic underground DJs before drifting in Singapore. His vinyl collections are fascinating and you might crave more at midnight.

It's a chill, laid back night with quality music. No attitude.
